Are you talking about the two clips that hold the metal cover over the battery and other electronics.  That part # is 70417-04E, and shows to be the same between 2016 and 2018 Roadsters. As I understand it, the part # ending in -04 means that it came into service in 2004. This is what I did, except I used a MUCH smaller zip tie and hole (about 1/16"). My ziptie is tethered to the bike with another zip tie so it never gets away from me. And its next to impossible to see, unless you know what you are looking for.

yeah, stock HD sissy bar, came on her. Guy bought it for his girl and him to two up, decided it was wrong bike after about 1100 miles. Yes, 909s, sound great. Feels a bit more torky. Singles, no cross over. Anyone know what year they updated the side panel clips? Shes a 2016 and the front clip on the panels looking "iffy" |

| oklaroadster | Looks great! Are your pipes the 909s, or the ones with the crossover? How is the sound (tone and dbs)? I'm looking at getting the Cobras with the crossovers. I've reached the age where I like a little more than stock, but they can easily get annoyingly loud, so want to see if they are "V&H loud" or a bit more tame. Any low end torque improvement? |
