Hey guys, i'm new here and i want your opinion.

I have a 2017 roadster, and i just bought from a HD dealer the forward controls. They said to me on the store, that i can't use my standard rider footpegs with the forward controls, so i would have to buy a new pair of footpegs, like the diamond or the edge cut... i looked for the forward control kit on the hd online store, and there i confirmed that the kit requires the footpegs.

Have anyone here installed the original hd forward control? if so, what did you do with the original rider footpegs? is it possible to use them, or i really need to buy new footpegs?

I guess you could use them without, but it would be tricky at best. Imagine trying to drive a car and work the foot controls without resting your heel on the floorboard.

Not saying it can’t be done... but I’d get the pegs designed for them.

Yeah, i just bought the new footpegs. Found 2 pairs of burst for a good price, so now i am going to change the pilot and passanger footpegs
