Don't suppose anyone has found an online copy of the service manual for free?

I've heard of someone buying one off ebay for $75 and then another who got it from their dealer for $60.

Isn't that a kick in the pants.. Buying it online, from eBay especially, being more expensive than the dealership :|

Not that much saved, and it's an investment that can pay for itself even within the first job you do. If the one on eBay is a PDF, chances are someone will leak it.

$75 is a paltry price to pay so owners can do their won general maintenance on their bikes. A lot cheaper than bringing it in every time the Roaster needs an oil change.

not bad at all indeed, plus being part of a community like this you'll find DIY's and tips from other owners, then you use manuals like that to fill in the rest and maybe to make more sense of what some people are doing here.

So... we just wait for a leak, or until someone bites the bullet and takes one for the team

I haven't seen a manual yet that covered the Roadster, I'm assuming we need to wait for a 2017 manual. That part number on the first post doesn't cover Roadsters.

Think the dealership will sell us service manuals when they're available?

I found a scanned copy of the 2016 manual, not sure what the etiquette is on sending it out, but if you want to pm me, I can send it over, for reference and double checking of torque specs of course.

It is 312 mb, so I'm assuming a dropbox would work.

I asked my dealer and the 2017 manuals are available right now. I'll probably end up getting a hard copy of it.

Did you manage to fine the owner's manual or then service manual?
